Laura Harrier is an American actress and model. She is most known for her prominent appearances in movies like Spider-Man: Homecoming and BlacKkKlansman.

She is recently starred in the Netflix drama miniseries, Hollywood.

7. Her Age, Height, and Ethnicity

Laura Harrier was born Laura Ruth Harrier on March 28, 1990. The 30-year-old biracial actress was born in Chicago, Illinois to an African-American insurance broker father and a Caucasian speech pathologist mother.

She is the younger of two siblings, and she has a younger brother. 

She stands at 5' 9¼" (1.76 m). 

6. Starred as Camille Washington in Netflix Miniseries, Hollywood

Harrier most recently starred in the Netflix drama miniseries, Hollywood

The miniseries is set in Hollywood during the "golden era" and follows a group of aspiring actors and moviemakers who are willing to do anything to make it into Hollywood. 

Harrier starred as one of the aspiring actresses and the girlfriend of another aspiring actor, Raymond Ainsley (played by Darren Criss), Camille Washington.

Hollywood premiered on Netflix on May 1, 2020, and starred an ensemble cast that included David Corenswet, Dylan McDermott, Joe Mantello, Jake Picking, Jeremy Pope, Holland Taylor, and Samara Weaving. 

5. Dated NBA Basketballer, Klay Thompson

Harrier dated American basketballer, Klay Thompson, for two years from 2018 to 2020. They kept their relationship on the down-low after Thompson's ex-girlfriend, Carleen Henry, reportedly broke up with him after her privacy became of concern.

They reportedly broke up mid-2019 but got back together. The two called it quits for good in 2020.    

4. Played Liz in Spider-Man: Homecoming

Harrier had a breakthrough role in the blockbuster 2017 superhero movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming. The movie is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is a reboot of the Marvel Comics superhero, Spider-Man -- this time, starring Tom Holland in the titular role.

Harrier played Liz, the love interest of Peter Parker: the civilian counterpart of Spider-Man.     

The movie was a critical and commercial success, grossing $880.2 million at the international box office. 

3. Portrayed Patrice Dumas in BlacKkKlansman

Harrier landed another blockbuster role, this time in Spike Lee's Oscar-winning 2018 biographical black-comedy crime movie, BlacKkKlansman. 

The movie was based on the memoir by the real-life Ron Stallworth, Black Klansman, which recounts his experience as the first black police officer in the Colorado Springs Police Department, back in 1972.

Harrier starred as Patrice Dumas, the president of the Black Student Union at Colorado University.

She was joined by an ensemble cast consisting of such actors as John David Washington as Detective Ron Stallworth, Adam Driver as Detective Philip "Flip" Zimmerman, and Topher Grace as David Duke, among others in the movie. 

2. TV Debut in ABC Soap Opera, One Life to Live

Harrier made her television debut in 2013 as part of the resurrected ABC soap-opera, One Life to Live. The series, which had originally run on ABC from July 15, 1968, to January 13, 2012, was picked up by Hulu on January 7, 2013.

Harrier played the 21-year-old version of the character, Destiny Evans, who at that point, was also a single mother.  

She appeared in a handful of episodes from April to July 2013.

Harrier, owing to her natural beauty, has worked as a model. Before she broke into the acting industry, she worked in numerous print and TV advertisements for such brands as American Eagle, Calvin Klein, L’Oréal, and Target.
