Samara comes from a family of artists, with her father, Simon Weaving, being a filmmaker, and her mother, Helena Bezzina, being an art therapist.

He is known for playing Agent Smith in The Matrix trilogy, Elrond in The Lord of the Rings movie franchise, V in V for Vendetta, and Red Skull in Captain America: The First Avenger and the Avengers franchise.

Samara recently starred as in the Netflix drama miniseries, Hollywood. She played Claire Wood an aspiring actress and the professional rival of Camille Washington (played by Laura Harrier).
