American actor Emilio Rivera is best known for his performance in the FX's crime tragedy television series Sons of Anarchy and the spin-off series, Mayans M.C.

Rivera played as Marcus Alvarez in Fox's crime tragedy television series Sons of Anarchy. His character was introduced in the premiere episode, Pilot, of the show. 

Alvarez is the main antagonist in season one and season two but is eventually shown less hostile in the later season. He was last seen in the episode, Papa's Goods, of the seventh season. Rivera appeared as a special guest star in the spin-off series, Mayans M.C.
