Jessica Marie Garcia is an American actress. She is most known for her television appearances, most notably as Willow Cruz in Liv and Maddie, Rhonda Navarro in How to Get Away with Murder, and Camilla in Diary of a Future President.

She has also been a part of the main cast of the Netflix coming-of-age comedy series, On My Block since 2018.

7. Married since 2018 to Actor, Adam Celorier

Garcia has been married since 2018 to the American actor, Adam Celorier. Celorier is known for his work in movies like Submerged, Barracuda, and Palm Swings.

They got engaged in January 2016 and tied the knot in October 2018.  

6. Jessica Marie Garcia's Age and Ethnicity 

Jessica Marie Garcia was born on March 23, 1987. The 33-year-old was born in Orlando, Florida, to a Mexican father and a Cuban mother.

She moved to Los Angeles, California, when she turned 19 to pursue her acting career.

Garcia has starred as Jasmine Flores in the Netflix teen comedy-drama web series, On My Block, since the show's inception in 2018.

She stars alongside Sierra Capri as Monsé Finnie, Jason Genao as Ruben "Ruby" Martinez Jr., Brett Gray as Jamal Turner, Diego Tinoco as Cesar Diaz, and Julio Macias as Oscar "Spooky" Diaz.

The series is a coming-of-age story of a gang of high-school students in a school in South Central Los Angeles. 

The show is in its third season which premiered on March 11, 2020. 

4. 75-Pound Weight Loss to Get Healthy

Garcia drastically lost weight circa 2013 when she was diagnosed as prediabetic. She was close to having full-blown diabetes, which, for her, would have meant a lifetime of medication and insulin shots. 

She took matters into her own hands and had a complete dietary overhaul and adopted a rigorous exercise regimen.  

She went cold-turkey (no pun intended) on red meat and opted for lean meat instead; meats like chicken, fish, and turkey. She also home-cooked her meals and stocked up on fruits and vegetables.

She also started doing Pilates, swimming, and kickboxing when she figured out that she hated running.      

When all was said and done, she had lost close to 75 pounds. 

3. TV Debut as Sierra in ABC Drama Series, Huge

To put into perspective how large she was prior to her weight loss: Garcia made her television debut in 2010 in the ABC drama series, Huge, a show about overweight teens being sent to weight-loss camp!

She played Sierra in the short-lived drama series which ran from June 28 to August 30, 2010, before being canceled.

2. Played Rhonda Navarro in How to Get Away with Murder

Garcia is also known for her work in the ABC legal-drama thriller series, How to Get Away with Murder.

She was a recurring character in the series as Rhonda Navarro, who was introduced in the show's fifth season and made intermittent appearances throughout 2018 and 2019. 

The series stars Viola Davis as Annalise Keating, a law professor who gets embroiled in a murder plot along with her students. The show also featured an ensemble cast including Alfred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Charlie Weber, and Karla Souza, among others.   

1. Worked at a Restaurant while Appearing on Liv and Maddie

Garcia had a long-standing stint in the comedy series, Liv and Maddie, from 2013 to 2017.

She made recurring appearances as Willow Cruz, the best friend of the titular Maddie Rooney. Maddie and her identical twin, Liv, were both played by actress Dove Cameron.

While appearing in the show. Garcia simultaneously worked at a restaurant to help supplement her income. 

Before she made it big in showbiz, she worked at the Olive Garden restaurant as well as the burger joint, The Counter.
