Adam Long played a sub-lieutenant in the 2017 Christopher Nolan-helmed World War II drama movie, Dunkirk.

Based on the true story of the mass evacuation of the 338,000+ Allied forces stranded on Dunkirk beach, France, the movie stars- among other actors- Harry Styles, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, and Kenneth Branagh.      

6. Main Cast Member Of Bancroft

Ascending the ranks from a minor background character to a lead man, 2017 also saw Adam play the role of Joe Bancroft in the ITV crime-thriller series, Bancroft.

Starring Sarah Parish as the titular Detective Chief Superintendent Elizabeth Bancroft, Adam plays her son in the show.

The series also sees Ryan McKen, Charles Babalola, Lee Boardman, Adrian Edmondson, Faye Marsay, and Shameem Ahmad make up the main cast.

In 2014, Adam Long made a guest appearance in the ITV crime-drama series, Vera, as the character, Misha.
