British actress, Alice Sophia Eve, is well-known for playing as Dr. Carol Marcus in the twelfth installment of the Star Trek film franchise, Star Trek Into Darkness.

7. Alice Eve: Age and Height

Born on February 6, 1982, Eve is 38 years old as of 2020. Moreover, Eve stands 5 feet and 5ΒΌ inches tall (1.66 m).

She was born in London and is of English, Irish and Welsh descent. Eve has two younger brothers: Jack Eve and George Eve. Jack, born on 1985, is director and producer, while George, born on 1994, is actor, composer, and frontman of the band Two Bottle Jump.

The 38 years old actress, who is fluent in French, became a naturalized American citizen on November 16, 2017, and resides in London and Los Angeles.

6. Her Parents Are Professional Actors

Alice's father, Trevor Eve, is an English film and television actor who rose to fame after playing as private detective Eddie Shoestring in the detective fiction drama series Shoestring. Laurence Olivier Award recipient recently appeared in the series A Discovery of Witches.

On the other hand, Alice's mother, Sharon Maughan, is a British actress who has been active in the entertainment industry since 1971. Sharon has starred in movies as Home Before Midnight, The Babymakers, She's Out of My League, to name a few. 

Trevor and Sharon Maughan met in 1979 while working in the play Filumena Marturano and married a year later, in 1980. 

Maughan and Trevor were asked to perform in front of the Queen along with Hugh Laurie, Sir Tom Courtenay, and Dame Helen Mirren after being invited to celebrate the centenary of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at Buckingham Palace.

While appearing in the late-night talk show, Conan, Eve talked about her desire to transition the character into a more comics-accurate costume in season three since Mary has been introduced in relatively modest attire. 

4. Her Eyes Are of Two Different Colors

The 38 years old actress has a condition called heterochromia, meaning she possesses irises of a different color.

The condition has caused Alice's right eye to have a green color and her left eye to appear a stunning light blue. In a conversation with Conan O'Brien, Eve discussed the 'challenges' of having the beautifully mismatched eyes, stating, 

"One boyfriend, who soon was not my boyfriend, it took nine months to notice. He was like, 'Do you have different colored eyes?' I was like, 'Are you joking? What have you been looking at?' Nine months in!"

Eve is among the few celebrities that have heterochromia, including Mila Kunis, who suffered from chronic iritis that formed a cataract and made her eyes appear in different colors.

3. Has a Net Worth of $6 Million

The 38 years old actress has enjoyed a fairly colorful career as her eyes. Since 2004, she has been part of numerous television shows and movies. Eve appeared on commercially successful films like Sex and the City 2, She's Out of My League, Men in Black 3, Star Trek Into Darkness, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, and most recently Bombshell.

2. Was Married to Her High School Sweetheart 

Eve met her ex-husband Alex Cowper-Smith while attending the Westminster School in London. Smith works as a financier in the UK. The couple got engaged on August 14, 2014. 

Following a four-month-long engagement, Eve and Smith had a church wedding on December 31, 2014, in The Brompton Oratory of London. 

According to Hello Magazine, Smith had asked for Eve's father, Trevor, permission before popping the question on a family holiday together in Ibiza on July 2013.

Eve and Smith had first dated as sixth-formers at Westminster School before rekindling their relationship at the beginning of 2014. Eve exclaimed, 

"We fell in love when we were at school. Then life took its course and we both went out and pursued our careers. I always adored him and we were able to reconnect at this time in our lives and magically fell back in love."

In 2017, however, the couple separated after staying together for two years. Eve previously dated poet Adam O'Riordan until 2012. Adam and Alice had met as college students at Oxford University.

Alice Eve plays as Susan Trenchard in the historical drama television series Belgravia, which is based on the eponymous novel of Julian Fellowes. The show premiered in the UK on March 15, 2020, and in the US on April 12, 2020.

Eve's character, Susan, is seen as a daughter of a wealthy merchant. She marries Oliver Trenchard, son of James and Anne Trenchard, which is portrayed by actor Richard Goulding. Though Susan might appear a bit of spoilt daughter-in-law, she surely does not lack a native wit.
