Kerry Condon is an Irish actress. She holds the distinction of being the youngest person to portray Ophelia in a Royal Shakespeare Theatre imagining of William Shakespeare's tragedy, Hamlet.  

She has since gone on to make a name for herself in movies and TV shows -- the latest of her foray into the small screens landing her in the AMC spin-off prequel series to their acclaimed hit Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul.

Here are seven facts you should know about Kerry Condon:   

7. Plays Stacey Ehrmantraut in Better Call Saul

Condon has been playing Stacey Ehrmantraut in AMC's Breaking Bad prequel spin-off series, Better Call Saul since 2015.

The show, helmed by Bob Odenkirk in the titular role, along with Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut, also sees Giancarlo Esposito return as Gustavo "Gus" Fring. Condon plays Bank's character, Mike's widowed daughter-in-law in the show.

Other prominent cast members include Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Michael McKean, and Tony Dalton. among others.   

Following a stellar five-season run, Better Call Saul returns for a sixth season in 2021.

6. She is the Voice of F.R.I.D.A.Y. in Marvel Cinematic Universe Movies

You may not have seen her perform, but it is unlikely that you haven't heard her talk -- she has only been in the most successful movie in history: Avengers: Endgame

Condon voiced the Artificial Intelligence, F.R.I.D.A.Y., that Tony Stark (played by Robert Downey Jr.) concocted as a successor to J.A.R.V.I.S. (voiced by Paul Bettany) after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron.

She has appeared in every movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe featuring Tony Stark henceforth: Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame -- the latter of which is the most commercially successful movie in history earning $2.798 billion worldwide. to date.

5. Youngest Person to Play Ophelia in a Royal Shakespeare Company production of Hamlet

Kerry Condon started her professional stage career in 2001 when she was 19, performing in the Royal Shakespeare Company production of The Lieutenant of Inishmore. She reprised her role in the 2006 production for Lyceum Theatre, New York.     

The same year, she landed the role of Ophelia in the Shakespearean tragedy, Hamlet, for the Royal Shakespeare Company, making history in the process by being the youngest person ever to accomplish the feat at 24.

4. Guest Appearance in The Walking Dead

Before Better Call Saul, Condon was in another AMC series, The Walking Dead -- swapping out the meth and character development for zombies and gory violence. Albeit in a much smaller role, her performance garnered so much goodwill that she was earmarked for a role years later in Better Call Saul

Condon appeared in three episodes of season 4 of the show and played Clara, a survivor traumatized by her husband's death in midst of the zombie apocalypse. 

3. First Major Breakthrough in HBO Historical Drama, Rome

Kerry Condon's first major breakthrough came in 2005 when she landed a prominent role in the HBO/BBC historical drama series, Rome.

Based on the lives of the denizens and royalties of ancient Rome, the British-American-Italian drama series featured an ensemble cast.

Despite having a star-studded cast, Condon's performance as Octavia Thurina Minor, the sister of Roman Emperor Augustus, was singled out as a standout of the entire series, thereby propelling Condon into the mainstream.
