Danny Griffin is one of several people to be confirmed to be part of the main cast of the upcoming Netflix young adult drama series Fate: The Winx Saga.

The young adult drama series is based on Iginio Straffi's fantasy animated series, Winx Club, that aired on Nickelodeon from January 2004 to November 2009 and revived for a June 2011 to September 2019 run.

Set in a magical realm inhabited by mystical creatures, Fate is centered around five aspiring fairies, who call themselves "Winx", attending the Alfea College for Fairies, and follows their relationships and rivalries while trying to keep a greater evil at bay.

Griffin's character, Sky, is the love interest of Bloom (Abigail Cowen), the leader of "Winx", who has flame-based powers.

Besides Danny Griffin and Abigail Cowen, Fate will feature a cast of relatively new actors.

Aside from Abigail Cowen, who will portray the leader of "Winx", the other four core characters will be portrayed by Hannah van der Westhuysen, Elisha Applebaum, Precious Mustapha, and Eliot Salt as Stella, Musa, Aisha, and Terra, respectively.
