    Dave Bautista was born on January 18, 1969, in Washington, D.C., the United States of America to Donna Raye and hairdresser David Michael Bautista. He grew up with his brother Michel Bautista.

    In 1988, Bautista graduated from Wakefield High School. Trying to find his way professionally, Bautista went through a series of unfulfilling jobs before discovering his true passion. He once became a nightclub bouncer but left the job after his fight at the club for which he was also given one year of probation.

    At one point, Bautista also worked as a lifeguard.

    Heading towards his personal life, Dave Bautista first tied the knot with his now-former wife Glenda Fe Bautista, on 25th March 1990. The couple has two daughters named Keilani Bautista, born in 1990, and Athena Bautista, born in 1992.
