Donovan Eckhardt, an American born-contractor got wide fame through the instant hit HGTV series Windy City Flip (2017) and Windy City Rehab (2019). In the house flipping reality show, Donovan works alongside interior designer Alison Victoria, who buys & renovates houses in Chicago.
Along with the Windy City Rehab's preparation for the second season, the show production went through a lot of dramas from Donovan's collaboration collapse to neighbors' complaints & lawsuits.
Without a doubt, Eckhardt's career as a lead contractor & as the owner of Greymark Development Group, Donovan indeed enjoys handsome earnings.
As of January 2020, the lead contractor has a net worth of around $1 million. Most notable thanks to his TV appearance in HGTV's highest-rated freshman series Windy City Rehab (2019).

In 2017, Donovan joined interior designer Alison Victoria in the Windy City Flip, a house-flipping series. In the show, Victoria buys and restores with smart, urban design to neglected homes in Chicago's historic neighborhoods.
The show came up with Windy City Rehab (2019), which completed its first season with 10 episodes, that garnered notable attention and added up the spice with Donovan's working-relationship with Alison.
For sure, success without any challenges is rare, so it comes for the HGTV series too. In December 2018, Chicago residents made complaints about Windy City Rehab's renovation issues stating it created a hazardous environment.
In late December 2019, an American couple James and Anna Morrissey sued Windy City Rehab stars Victoria and Eckhardt, claiming fraud on the house they bought with the reality stars.
Reportedly, the couple paid $1.36 million in March 2019 for the Chicago house at 2308 W. Giddings St., which as per documents was plagued with leaks- had a leaky roof, poorly installed windows and many other.
After the Morrissey couple replaced roof using their own contractors, Victoria's company had to reimbursement check cleared.
In early January 2020, Alison Victoria stated to rebuy the property & pay an extra $80,000 to cover money spent on fixes.
Before facing a possible license suspension and stop orders along with the lawsuit-story, the Windy City Rehab host & flipper Alison stated Donovan as her working husband:
Donovan is pretty much like my work husband. He has the anxiety. I have full blown anger- and it works.
However, after the lawsuit, the relationship of the HGTV series star seems to have turned bitter.
In a text conversation with homeowners Anna and James Morrissey, Victoria’s spill out her frustration:
I do not want him to f*** with my life or business any more than he already has.
Even though, it's officially unclear that if Victoria will work with Donovan in Season 2 of Windy City Rehab, the HGTV are sure to air the show as planned in April 2020.
On an Instagram post on January 9, 2020, featuring a picture of herself in work, Victoria included #Season2iscoming, while no promotion of the series is seen on Donovan's Instagram, where his followers count 6.5K.
