Active in the realms of the entertainment industry since the age of 16, Felix Mallard grabbed on the significant role of popstar Cooper James in the comedy series Happy Together. The character is based on the experience of pop star Harry Styles.   

He will also be seen in two Netflix series: All the Bright Places and Locke and Key that is all set to premiere on an earlier month of 2020. 

With all the fanbase he has created in the years, there is no doubt that his ardent follower has often scrutinised his love life. After all, he has been cast on a romantic drama! So is it just a new project coming his way, or does he have someone new in his life too?

The actor shared a loved romantic on-screen relationship with his co-star Lilly Van der Meer, and there were many rumours of their off-screen romance too. However, both of them later confirmed to be just friends. 

Nevertheless, Felix seems like a confidential person keeping his personal affairs away from the limelight.

His Instagram account suggests that he shares a cordial relationship with many female friends. 

Harry Styles Convinced Him To Play The Character Of, Cooper James 

It is unlikely to be convinced by the former One Direction member himself to portray his character in reel life. But in case of the Aussie actor, the opportunity came knocking his door, all thanks to his proclivity for acting.

When he appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden, he recalled the conversation with Styles, "Hi, this is Harry. We really like your stuff, and we hope you come on board." when he was actually expecting a call from the executive producer.

And, he didn't even have to pull Harry's English accent. However, he did audition initially with an American accent. But eventually, the producers decided to put his natural Australian accent. 

The show got cancelled after running just one season. 

Felix's Previous And Upcoming Projects 

Mallard joined the cast of Neighbours and appeared in a guest stint while he was still in high-school. After completing his 12, he took up acting career professionally and became a main cast. 

After departing from Neighbours, he appeared in comedy series Happy Together and garnered media attention.

He is cast alongside Elle Fanning, Justice Smith, Alexandra Shipp, Keegan-Michael Key, Luke Wilson in the romantic drama film All the Bright Places. It is scheduled to release on February 28, 2020.

Felix also has a recurring role in Netflix's supernatural horror web television series Locke & Key that will premiere on February 7, 2020. 

What Does He Do Besides Acting?

The Australian actor is also a model as he is signed to the second-longest established and internationally recognized agency called Vivien's Model.

Besides this, he is also a vocalist and guitarist for the Melbourne rock band, Enemies Alike. 

As a child, Felix also took up the sport competing at state and national levels and has won two bronze medals at the 2012 Victorian National Champions along with his team members.
