For those wondering what pedigree she has in her genes that make her look so stunning, her father, Marc Anthony Thompson is of Afro-Panamanian descent, and her mother is of English, German, Irish, Scottish, and Mexican ancestry.

In a 2018 interview, Tessa admitted that she was attracted to people of both gender. However, she did not want to be classified as bise*ual.

In that interview, she stated matter-of-factly: 

"I’m attracted to men and also to women."

Despite being forthcoming about her se*uality, Tessa prefers her relationship with singer Janelle Monáe to stay relatively private.

Tessa Thompson made her debut in season 2 of the HBO sci-fi/western series Westworld as the ruthless Charlotte Hale. She also doubled as the humanoid Dolores Abernathy in the season finale episode after the demise of Charlotte Hale.

Season 3 of Westworld is slated to return in the latter half of 2020, and Tessa has been announced as returning in the highly anticipated HBO series that stars Jeffrey Wright, Evan Rachel Wood, Luke Hemsworth, and Thandie Newton, among others.

2. She is also a Theater Actress

Tessa's love for acting is not limited to movies and/or television. She has also tried her hand at theatre acting. She made her professional debut in 2002 in LAWSC's theatre production of The Tempest. She also played Juliet in the 2003 reimagining of William Shakespeare's classic, Romeo and Juliet: Antebellum New Orleans, 1836 for The Theatre @ Boston Court in Pasadena, California.
