Had Auditioned For a Lead Role in Blackhat

Montana had auditioned for one of the lead characters in Michael Mann's 2015 action thriller film, Blackhat, he revealed in his interview with the Collider. However, for some reason, he did not get the part. Nonetheless, impressed by his audition, the casting directors offered him the role of Lozano, a wanted criminal. 

"It’s a smaller part, but I'm not going to turn down a chance to work with Michael Mann. To be on a set like that, it just makes me want to do more film", he told the website.

Montana co-starred as José "Johnny" Tuturro in the drama television series, Graceland. The show premiered on June 6, 2013, on USA Network but was canceled after three seasons. 

The 36 years old actor appeared as a FBI Agent living together with a group of undercover agents in Southern California beach house known as Graceland. Game of Thrones star Pedro Pascal also had a recurring role in the first season of the show.
