Peric was born in Kladovo, SR Serbia, Yugoslavia, to a Serbian family. Yugoslavia was a country in Southeastern and Central Europe for most of the 20th century. The rise of nationalism and economic and political crisis in the 1980s led to Yugoslav Wars, eventually becoming the cause of the dissolution of Yugoslavia.

Peric had a penchant for theatrical works from an early age. He first explored the realms of art scene when a Cuban singer invited him on stage to sing the Cuban song, Guantanamera. 

The incident made him acquainted with the stagecraft and helped him acknowledge his newfound interest. Just five years old at the time, he began performing in school plays, not missing any opportunity to showcase his talent. 

4. He Was Sent to a Veterinary School

At the age of 14, Peric had plans to go to a animation school located in Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia. Came along the Yugoslav Wars, which not only destroyed the country but dashed his dreams of becoming a artist. 

On the other side, Peric's parents had other plans for him. They wanted Peric to be a doctor and sent him to a veterinary school in Bucharest, the capital city of Romania.
