The 45 years old actor is the co-founder of a theater company called 300 pistolas (300 pistols) along with Blanca Clemente. The company was founded on 2012. In the website of the 300 pistolas, Morte talks about his inspiration for initiating a theatre company, exclaiming, 

“300 Guns is the result of an idea that was born as a dream. Blanca and I were watching a classic play and we were falling asleep! Why should classical theater be boring? Why do so many people snort at the mere thought of going to see The Knight of Olmedo or the Lady Boba? Why are the works always mounted with that weight, with that brace? But if Lope was a donjuanesco hooligan! But if Mihura adored the Marx Brothers! There was something that did not fit us and we got down to work."

Clemente and Morte launched the company with a sole purpose of recapturing the classics and wonderfully mixing it "in an innovative but honest way, authentic although without artifice and reaching the viewer in a clear and direct, fresh and entertaining way." 

5. Made his Television Debut in 2002

Morte started his acting career in 2002, 17 years ago, with the television series Hospital Central. The 45 years old actor appeared in the fourth episode of season 4: El soldadito de plomo. The episode aired on January 30, 2002. 

What's more, Morte made a guest appearance in the seventh episode of season 4: El vuelo de la suerte. The seventh episode aired on October 22, 2002. 

For the fourth episode, Morte was credited as Álvaro A. García while for the seventh season, he was credited as Álvaro Antonio García. 

4. Was Diagnosed with a Leg Tumor

In 2011, Morte became diagnosed with a malignant tumor in his leg. The diagnosis turned his world upside down, making him re-evaluate the choices he made in his past.

In an interview with the Cocktail Magazine, Morte exclaimed,  

"At first I thought I was going to die, that my leg was cut but nothing happened. However, at that time I was thinking- if I die in three months, can I do it calmly? Have I respected the people around me who love me? Have I been faithful to my principles?"

The 45 years old actor underwent clinical treatment, which left him feeling tired. Yet, he relentlessly followed the therapy with faith and determination that allowed him to overcome the battle with the cancerous tumor. In the process, Morte learned to acknowledge the simplest pleasure life offers, be it smiling with the strangers or listening to the sound of rain splatter, and enjoying every single moment of it.

Alvaro Morte's net worth is estimated to be $2 million. After making his television debut in 2002, he appeared in few short films. In 2007, he became cast in the primary role in the television series, Floor 25. 

Since then, Morte has appeared in altogether 16 television shows. Likewise, he has worked in eight movies. What's more, Morte is also credited as the associate producer of 2013's movie Wings. 1. Has a Primary Role in Money heist

Morte plays as Sergio Marquina, also known as The Professor, in the Spanish television heist crime drama series Money Heist.

His character is seen as the mastermind of the heist for which he received a nomination in four different awards show in the category of best actor. Among the four nominations, Morte won the Award of the Spanish Actors Union for lead male performance.
