The former Ukrainian competitive figure skater, Oksana Baiul, age 41, is the 1993 World Champion and the 1994 Olympic champion in ladies’ single. Besides, Oskana is the first skater to win gold at the Winter Olympics representing Ukraine. Also, she is the first Olympic champion of independent Ukraine in any sport.
Baiul was born Oksana Sergeyevna Baiul on 16 November 1977, Dnepropetrovsk, Ukrainian SSR, USSR. She holds a Ukrainian nationality and belongs to a Russian ethnicity.
She was raised by her mother, Marina Baiul, a French teacher. Her father, Sergei Baiul died in 2006.
The41-year-old, Baiul is a married woman. She tied a knot to a former manager, Carlo Farina. There are no details about their marriage history. In January 2015, she stated that she is wedded to Carlo but hasn’t disclosed her exact marriage date in media or public.
