Jahking Guillory is an American actor and rapper. He is best known for his roles in TV shows like The Chi, Five Points, and Black Lightning

He has also been a recurring presence on the Netflix comedy series On My Block.

7. His Age and Ethnicity

Jahking Guillory was born in 2001, in Long Beach, California. As of May 2020, he is 19 years old. 

He is half-Haitian from his father's side and half-Guamanian from his mother's side.  

6. Played Latrelle in On My Block

Guillory has been a recurring character on the Netflix coming-of-age comedy drama series On My Block, since its premiere on March 16, 2018.

He plays the character named Latrelle, and appeared intermittently throughout the first two seasons.

The series revolves around a group of lifelong friends and the trials and tribulations that they go through as life happens to them.

The series stars mostly newcomers, including Sierra Capri, Jason Genao, Brett Gray, Diego Tinoco, Brett Gray, Diego Tinoco, Jessica Marie Garcia, and Jessica Marie Garcia, rounding out the main cast.   

5. Starred alongside Mahershala Ali in Movie, Kicks

Guillory's first starring movie role was also one where he shared the screen with Academy Award-winning actor, Mahershala Ali -- of Moonlight fame.

They starred in the 2016 adventure movie Kicks, a movie about a 15-year-old boy who gets his Jordans stolen and embarks on a dangerous adventure with his two friends to retrieve them.

The movie was a critical success, and started Guillory's career off on the right foot.   

4. Recurring Role as Geo-Force in Black Lightning

Guillory was a recurring character in the third season of the CW superhero series, Black Lightning. Based on the eponymous characters published by DC Comics, Guillory played Brandon Marshall and his superhero alter-ego, Geo-Force in the series.

The superhero series stars Cress Williams, China Anne McClain, Nafessa Williams, and Christine Adams, among others, and is set to return for a fourth season. 

3. Played Charles "Coogie" Johnson in Showtime Drama Series, The Chi

Guillory was also made recurring appearances in the Showtime drama series, The Chi.

He played Charles "Coogie" Johnson in the first few episodes of the drama series, back in 2018. 

The third season of the series is set to premiere on June 21, 2020.

2. On-Screen Debut in 2014 Comedy Movie, Midnite Cabby

With the dedication and work ethic that Guillory puts into all his roles, it is hard to fathom that he is a relative newcomer to acting.

He made his on-screen debut in 2014 as Friendly Fareed in the comedy movie, Midnite Cabby.

The movie starred Jesse Buschini as a taxi driver who must drive all night and collect enough money to bail his abducted brother out of trouble.

Guillory also played Ronnie Martin in the Facebook Watch teen drama series, Five Points.
