    Rich Brian was interested in comedy and began his career at the age of 11 on social media in 2010. After that, he was onto Rubik’s Cube and got an idea to find strategies to solve if faster logging onto his parents’ computer. On April 8, 2014, he created his YouTube on April 8, 2014. 

    Prior to this, in August 2010, Rich founded and joined Twitter and eventually started to make video content along with dark-comedy sketches and uploaded on Twitter. Then, he joined Vine when he was 15 years and eventually became an internet star.

    The initial stage name of the singer was Rich Chigga, which had created a controversy in the past. He, along with his friend, came out with the original stage name with Brian’s first song on SoundCloud and later changed it to Rich Brian

    "I realized I don’t really have a rap name. And then my friend from Wichita was just talking about it. We came up with a couple of names which were cool, and he was just like, 'Rich Chigga.' I was like, 'That is really catchy.' And that's honestly it."

    "I do regret it – I didn't really know what I was doing and I definitely did not know people were gonna pop off like this."

    From 2018 onward, Brian again started to be professionally famous by his new stage name i.e., Rich Brian. Via his Twitter post, he also said:

    "I have been planning to do this forever and I'm so happy to finally do it. I was naive and I made a mistake."
