Robert Herjavec is a famous Canadian celebrity businessman, founder, author, television personality, and investor.

He is the founder of one of the largest information technology and computer security companies, The Herjavec Group. He founded the group in 2003.

After graduating from New College at the University of Toronto in 1984, Robert took every possible job to support his family. Before making a standard move, he took numerous minimum wage jobs like waiting tables, retail salesman, newspaper delivery boy, and debt collection.

The now 57 years old investor even, on the first hand, tried his luck on the entertainment profession. He made his early career move on movies in the mid-1980s working as third assistant director for films like The Return of Billy Jack and Cain and Abel. He even served as the field producer for the 1984 Winter Olympics.

While working for numerous productions, he applied for Logiquest selling IBM mainframe emulation boards. Even though he did not qualify for the position, he offered the company to select him, for which he will work for six months for free.

He made business movies after he got a chance to work in the position of General Manager of the company. However, Logiquest fired him in 1990, eventually founding BRAK Systems.

Three years later, he founded The Herjavec Group, and soon, his company became Canada’s fastest-growing technology companies.

Robert found BRAK Systems and sold it to AT&T Canada for $30.2 million in March 2000.

Robert was born on 14th September 1962 in Varazdin, Croatia, and grew up in Zbjeg. He was eight years old when his parents Vladimir Herjavec and Katica Herjavec left the country to settle in Toronto, Canada.

He studied at New College at the University of Toronto and graduated with a degree in English literature and political science.

Regarding Robert’s relationships, he has been married twice. He was first married to Diane Plese. They tied the knot in 1990 and separated in Jul 2014 divorcing in early 2016. The pair has three children, daughter Caprice, daughter Skye, and son Brendan.

A year after separation, Robert confirmed his relationship with Kym Herjavec. They got engaged on 27th February 2016 and later exchanged vows in the same year on 31st July in Los Angeles, California.

The duo welcomed twins, a baby boy Hudson Robert Herjavec and girl Haven Mae Herjavec on 23rd April 2018.

Robert was dragged into controversies, when, his former girlfriend, Danielle Vasinova, accused him of rape. Later, the case was dismissed in mid-2018, and Danielle apologized to him and his entire family.
