For fans of Stranger Things, Finn Wolfhard needs no introduction. He not only stole Eleven's heart in the Netflix show, he also stole our hearts as loveable scamp, Mike Wheeler.

Coming off of a highly successful third season, Finn is ready to take the world by storm in the upcoming movie Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

These are seven facts about the 17-year-old Canadian up-and-coming acting and singing superstar, Finn Wolfhard.

7. He Performs in a Rock Band

We don't know how he manages to do it! Not only is he an established actor, he also juggles a career as a budding musician. And he is just 17!

Finn is indeed a vocalist and a multi-instrumentalist. He can play guitar, the piano, the drums, bass and the harmonica. 

He was the frontman and the rhythm guitarist for the Vancouver-based indie-rock band Calpurnia. While they parted ways on On 8 November 2019, they left behind a legacy with their EP, Scout, which was accompanied by three singles: City Boy, Louie, and Greyhound

He is currently with the band The Aubreys, and they recently released their debut music video for the upcoming horror movie, The Turning, titled Getting Better. 

6. Has a Huge Instagram Following

Finn has a whopping 18.6 million followers on Instagram under the handle: @finnwolfhardofficial. He has his Instagram game on point, and balances glimpses into his personal life with his upcoming professional endeavors.

Finn also takes to Instagram to show off his musical prowess. He is seen frequently shredding solo or jamming with his band. 

Besides developing a dedicated following on Instagram, Finn's Twitter @FinnSkata has amassed 2.3 million followers, and his eponymous YouTube channel is currently at 362k subscribers. 

5. Made Acting Debut via Craigslist

Some people answer casting calls in magazines and newspapers, while others post their résumés for talent scouts to see.

Finn Wolfhard went against the grain to land his first acting gig, using the classified advertisements platform Craigslist to land his first acting gig. 

4. Auditioned for Stranger Things While Sick in Bed

When Finn did land a serious gig, he almost missed out on his audition because he was sick! Finn answered an open casting call to star in Stranger Things, but was relegated to bedrest after contracting a flu. Not to be deterred, he performed his audition from his bed. He impressed the showrunners and landed the role of Mike Wheeler.

She stars alongside Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Maya Hawke, Gaten Matarazzo, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, David Harbour, Sadie Sink, Winona Ryder, Noah Schnapp and others in the series.

3. Feature Film Debut in Stephen King's It

Stephen King's It represents a great many things to many people. It is the highest-earning horror movie of all time, at $700.4 million. It has also been named by many publications as one of the best movies of 2017. To Finn Wolfhard, it marked his debut on the big screens. 

Indeed, Finn debuted on the silver screens as Richie Tozier in the adaptation of Stephen King's eponymous horror novel. 

2. Finn's Older Brother, Nick Wolfhard, is also an Actor

Finn's older brother Nick is also an actor in his own right. While Finn does all manners of live-action acting, his brother Nick has made his name in voice-acting.

Nick has lent his voice to such animated features as Under Wraps and Howard Lovecraft and the Kingdom of Madness. 

1. His Net Worth is $3 Million

Finn Wolfhard is a millionaire and he is in his teens. The 17-year-old Canadian prodigy is worth $3 million as of 2020. 

One of the central cast members of Netflix hit sci-fi series Stranger Things, his salary per episode has increased along with his stock in the market. 

While he worked for $20k per episode in the first two seasons of Stranger Things, his growing marketability and the show's overall popularity lent to his salary being increased to $250k per episode.

In comparison, Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Finn's love interest in the show, Eleven, gets paid $350,000 per episode.
