Okieriete "Oak" Onaodowan is an American actor, who is famously known for portraying the roles of Hercules Mulligan and James Madison in 2015 musical Hamilton. Besides, he is also known for his role of Dean Miller in Station 19, a Grey's Anatomy spin-off series.

Actor Okieriete Onaodowan was born on August 16, 1987, in Newark, New Jersey, to Nigerian parents. Raised in West Orange, New Jersey, Onaodowan graduated from West Orange High School in 2005.

During his high school days, Onaodowan played football, however, he had to stop playing after he got injured during practice. As a result, Okieriete got a chance to explore his acting skills as an alternative extracurricular activity.

He worked in another short film, The One You Marry, in 2011, and the role of Lou in a comedy-drama film Thanks for Sharing, in 2012.

In 2018, Onaodowan landed a main role of Dean Miller in an American action-drama television series, Station 19.

News regarding their dating surfaced after they were spotted enjoying their romantic getaway in San Diego, California, back in 2014.
