Younes Bendjima, 26, is a boxer-turned-model. His stock went up exponentially when he got into a relationship with reality star Kourtney Kardashian.

7. His On And Off Relationship With Kourtney Kardashian

Despite all he has achieved in his life, there is perhaps nothing that made him as big a star as he is now than his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian.   

The two initially met in October 2016 at the Paris Fashion Week. Younes had just gotten out of a relationship with model Jourdan Dunn a week prior. Kourtney herself fell out with her estranged husband, Scott Disick. 

Younes and Kourtney were quickly taken with each other and began dating. They were together for 18 months before breaking up in August 2018. 

They had an amicable separation and remained friends. The couple again spotted together in November 2019. Though they have not addressed their new relationship, as per the close sources, they are an item. 

6. He Was Born In Algeria And Split His Time Traveling From Paris To New York  

Younes was born on May 5, 1993, in Algeria. His parents separated after that his father moved to New York, USA, and Younes moved to Paris, France, with his mother.   

So Younes spends his time traveling from Paris to where his father lives in New York.

Being born in Algeria, and spending some of his most formative years in Paris and the USA, Younes became adept at the languages of each country.

He can communicate in Arabic, English, and French fluently.  

5. He Trained To Become A Professional Boxer

Younes began training to become a boxer at age 11. He started training with his uncle, who still coaches him to this day.

His career as a boxer, however, could never take off, but he still partakes in the sport seriously, training rigorously and maintaining a strict diet.

4. He Is A Model

While visiting his father in New York, Younes started working in his father's restaurant, when in 2011, he was approached by a talent scout looking to recruit him. 

Younes was, at the time, however, still aspiring to become a boxer, declined the offer. After realizing his career as a boxer was going nowhere, he took up the offer and auditioned as a model.

This proved to be a godsend as he thrived in the modeling world. After debuting in 2013 in the men’s Spring runway show for Riccardo Tisci, he would go on to model for such brands as Hermes, Calvin Klein, Burberry, and Ralph Lauren.

3. He Is A Devout Muslim

Despite reaching the heights that he has reached, Younes has not lost sight of his roots. 

Younes is a pious follower of Islam and celebrates the annual Muslim festival of Ramadan, even taking to his social media to show reverence for his culture and religion.

2. He Is Alleged In A Physical Altercation

In early 2018, Younes was implicated in an assault allegation when a video surfaced of who seemed to be Bendjima punching a man repeatedly in the face. 

The altercation occurred outside of a New York restaurant when a restaurant employee reportedly talked smack to Younes, prompting the attack. 

The matter was settled out of court.

Before Bendjima would skyrocket into fame, he was reportedly worth $500k. 

Not a measly sum by any means, but since he started dating Kourtney and became a household name, his net worth has been propelled to seven digits.  

The 26-year-old Algerian model is reportedly a multi-millionaire. He is still in the early phase of her career and has a long way to go.
