The two initially met in October 2016 at the Paris Fashion Week. Younes had just gotten out of a relationship with model Jourdan Dunn a week prior. Kourtney herself fell out with her estranged husband, Scott Disick.
Younes and Kourtney were quickly taken with each other and began dating. They were together for 18 months before breaking up in August 2018.

This proved to be a godsend as he thrived in the modeling world. After debuting in 2013 in the men’s Spring runway show for Riccardo Tisci, he would go on to model for such brands as Hermes, Calvin Klein, Burberry, and Ralph Lauren.

Younes is a pious follower of Islam and celebrates the annual Muslim festival of Ramadan, even taking to his social media to show reverence for his culture and religion.
In early 2018, Younes was implicated in an assault allegation when a video surfaced of who seemed to be Bendjima punching a man repeatedly in the face.
The altercation occurred outside of a New York restaurant when a restaurant employee reportedly talked smack to Younes, prompting the attack.
The matter was settled out of court.
