7. Part of the Main Cast of Netflix's Spinning Out

David James was part of the main cast of the Netflix drama series Spinning Out. 

The first season premiered on Netflix on January 1, 2020, and starred Kaya Scodelario, Willow Shields, Evan Roderick, Sarah Wright Olsen, Anna Baryshnikov, and January Jones, among others. 

Elliott played James Davis, the father of Justin Davis (played by Evan Roderick).

In February 2020, Netflix announced that it had canceled the show after one season.   

6. Married since 1992 to Nanci Chambers

Elliott has been married since 1992 to a fellow Canuck actress, Nanci Chambers. They married when they were relative unknowns and close to bankruptcy. The ceremony was conducted in City Hall. 

A more lavish ceremony was conducted in Santa Barbara, California on June 26, 1999. By that time, they had already welcomed their daughter, Stephanie (born on March 15, 1993), who was the flower-girl.

They welcomed their second child: a son named Wyatt, on March 3, 2003. 

They jointly applied for US citizenship and are currently listed as residing in California.

Elliott's big break came in 1995 when he bagged the lead role of Harmon Rabb, Jr., USN, in the legal-drama TV series, JAG. 

During his ten-year stint as the lead, he turned heads for his fantastic portrayal and he shared the screens with other promising talents: the likes of Tracey Needham, Catherine Bell, Patrick Labyorteaux, and John M. Jackson, to name a few.
