Get ready to be nostalgic about dinosaurs for the third time as the third installment in the Jurassic World reboot is confirmed. The film is the sixth film overall in the franchise. Yet more exciting news for fans of the film series as cast members from the original films is set to return.                           

The first film, which started it all, was released on June 9, 1993, and the third film came out in 2001, closing the original film’s trilogy. Then the film’s reboot came out in 2015 and set the stage for a sequel; then, the next installment came out in 2018.

What Will The Title And Plot Of Jurassic World 3 Be?

Universal Studios has a tight grip over the details of the film, but we can confirm that the title of the film will be Jurassic World Dominion.

Colin Trevorrow's Twitter post on Feb 26, 2020, with a clapperboard containing the title and director’s name. Similarly, Pratt also posted the same image on Instagram, revealing the film to his legions of fans and followers.             

According to director Colin, the plot of the film will revolve around the past two films in the franchise. He also said that the film "celebration of everything that has existed in the franchise up until now."

Trevorrow's also directed the 2015 film Jurassic World but was a writer and producer-only, for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.        

One of the stars of the reboot, Chris Pratt, posted the meaning of ‘dominion’ as “1. sovereignty or control. man's attempt to establish dominion over nature”, which might mean that humans will try to conquer dinosaurs in the film.

When Will The Film Be Released?

The studio has set a release date of June 21, 2021, for the film, so fans will have to wait a fair bit before they get the chance to see the film.

Some other sources have disputed this date, and Digitalspy claims that the film will be released on June 11, 2021.   

Films are usually released on the weekend, and June 11, 2021, falls on a Friday, whereas 21 June 2021 falls on a Monday. Due to this, the film might be released on June 11, 2021.

Which Stars From The Original Films Are Returning To The Film?

Jurassic Park legends like Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum will act on the film as members of the original films; similarly, a lot of familiar faces from the Jurassic World franchise will also be seen in the film.
