Siobhan Finneran is an acclaimed English actor, but more than that, she remains a fan of the performing arts - more than three decades after going professional. 7. Played Sarah O'Brien in Downton Abbey

Siobhan would become a household name following her turn as Sarah O'Brien in the historical drama series, Downton Abbey.

Siobhan played the lady's maid to the Countess of Grantham in 25 episodes of the popular English period drama from 2010 to 2012.

6. Starred in the Netflix Miniseries, The Stranger

Siobhan landed another high-profile role in the Netflix thriller miniseries, The Stranger.

Based on the eponymous novel by Harlan Coben, the series follows a "stranger" who wreaks havoc on the lives of seemingly-normal families by unearthing long-hidden secrets.

The series stars- besides Finneran- Richard Armitage, Jennifer Saunders, Shaun Dooley, Hannah John-Kamen, Paul Kaye, Kadiff Kirwan, and Dervla Kirwan, among others.
