Pokémon is a special childhood memory of almost everyone who grew up watching TV and cartoons. In fact, some adults still geek out over the show. The show was more than just a kid’s cartoon and still has millions of fans all over the world. Each of us, who was a fan of the show, had a favorite Pokemon.
For over 22 years, Pokemon has asked its viewers Who's That Pokémon? And now the company, along with Google, is asking fans who their Pokemon of the year is.
If you Google Pokemon of the year, you will be presented with the voting applet on the search page. The Pokémon Company, along with Google, will announce the winner on February 27, which, as you might know, is Pokemon day.
The Pokemon Day falls on February 27 and is celebrated by the company as well as the shows fans all over the world.
This year the company is also altering the Pokemon’s appearances with special party wear Pokemon Go in order to celebrate the occasion.
We might seem cliché, but there is only one Pokemon to be named Pokemon of the year at the start of the new decade, Pikachu.
Admit it; we had all cried when Pikachu cried in the first-ever Pokemon movie.
In a survey in 2019 in which over 52,000 people took part in, they voted that Charizard was their favorite Pokemon.
The Fire/Flying-type pocket monster has been a fan favorite ever since it made its first appearance.
The Kanto region Pokemon made its first appearance as basic unevolved stage Charmander. It grew along with Ash Ketchum to become one of the most beloved Pokemon in the series.
Similarly, Gengar comes in at a close second in the survey. People seem to adore the Ghost-type Pokemon who Pokedex entry reads.
