Tom Brokaw is an American journalist and author. He is known for being an anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News from 1982 to 2004. He has hosted all three major NBC News programs including The Today Show, NBC Nightly News and Meet the Press. He also has written several books on American history and society including The Greatest Generation. He won seven Emmy Awards and Peabody Award.
