Marquis Rodriguez is an American actor. Born in 1996, the 23-year-old made his on-screen debut when he was 11 years old as Diego Benitez in the crime-drama series, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

7. Had a Role in an Unaired Game of Thrones Prequel Pilot

Plans for a prequel series for Game of Thrones, titled House of the Dragon, has been greenlit by HBO, but a lesser-known fact is that a prequel series was already axed before it could air. 

The prequel series would have starred Naomi Watts and was given the go in June 2018 but was canceled before it could take off. The pilot episode would also have starred Marquis Rodriguez, but as of yet, it is unclear in which capacity.   

6. Played the Teenage Raymond Santana in When They See Us

Rodriguez landed his biggest role to date in the Netflix drama miniseries When They See Us. He plays a teenage version of one of the accused men, Raymond Santana (the adult version of whom is played by Freddy Miyares).

The acclaimed series also stars Jharrel Jerome, Asante Blackk, Vera Farmiga, Jovan Adepo, Michael K. Williams, Logan Marshall-Green, Felicity Huffman, Joshua Jackson, and Blair Underwood, among others.

Marquis Rodriguez was born on September 17, 1996, and turned twenty-three last September. He made his debut in 2007 in an episode of the crime-drama series, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, as Diego Benitez.

Rodriguez has also appeared in two highly-acclaimed Marvel TV series on Netflix. He played Darryl in an episode of Luke Cage in 2016 and later reprised the role in multiple episodes of Iron Fist in 2017.
