World's Best Fortune Teller The Simpsons: Predicted Kobe Bryant's Death And Coronavirus

Ever since its release on December 17, 1989, The Simpsons has been one of the biggest shows on TV. 

During its initial years, the show was a cartoon for the whole family to watch together, but little did the viewers know that The Simpsons would predict so many world events in the coming years (Maybe the writers did).  

From Donald Trump becoming POTUS to the Coronavirus outbreak, the show seems to have predicted some of the biggest world events in the world. There have been so many cases of them rightly predicting the future that its not possible to sweep them under the rug as coincidence.        

Did The Writers Know About Kobe Bryant’s Death And Corona Virus Outbreak?     

While we won’t say that The Simpsons writers’ are time travelers who know the future, but they seem to predict so many events accurately that we wouldn’t be the only ones to think so.  

Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna tragically died in a helicopter crash that took nine lives, including theirs, in January 2020. In 2016, the Simpsons had an episode where Bryant was shown crawling out of a crashed and burning helicopter.

Additionally, they also showed a flu outbreak on their show named the Osaka flu. The episode aired 27 years ago and showed employees coughing into a package that would eventually ship to the USA and cause an epidemic.

What Have The Simpsons Predicted?   

The cartoon is infamous for predicting the future, and there have been more than 19 times when the show has been right about the future.       

The creators and writers James L. Brooks, Matt Groening, and Sam Simon have also been called members of the Illuminati for their uncanny ability to ‘predict’ the future.  

Game of Thrones was one of the best shows on TV except the ending, which, you guessed they predicted it.      

Similarly, a faulty voting machine was also predicted by the show. They showed the lead, Homer using a voting machine which was faulty, as he tried to vote for Obama the vote automatically changed to John McCain.  

In the 2008 election, a malfunctioning voting machine was removed from Pennsylvania. Whenever people tried to vote for Obama, the vote changed to Mitt Romney.  

There are also a huge number of other predictions by the show which have come true, but we haven't mentioned it here.
